Chili Verde and Rigatoni Marinara

Tomatillos give of a natural saponin. It is bitter and needs to be rinsed off. I'd like a painting of this.

Meal 1: Chili Verde, Hand Cut Tortilla Chips, Cucumber & Sweet Corn Salad

· Warm the chili gently.

· Toss and serve the corn/cuke salad chilled.

· Store the chips air tight if not enjoying today. If the humidity has gotten to the chips try spreading them on a cookies sheet and toasting in the oven at 350° for 3-5 minutes.

Meal 2: Rigatoni Marinara, Grilled Summer Vegetables, Summercrisp Salad w. Chickpeas

· The vegetables are great at room temp or lightly warmed in a microwave. A little nice olive oil and maybe fresh herbs to garnish is great.

· Heat a little olive oil over a medium flame in a saute pan. When just getting hot add the pasta. Toss. Allow to heat through a bit. Add the marinara and toss to combine and heat through. 1-2 minutes. Garnish with a little grated cheese if you like and serve.

· Dress the salad.
