Heirloom Tomato Pizza and Cold Sesame Noodles w. Broccoli
Heirloom Tomato Flatbread Pizza, Beets w. Orange Zest and Fennel, Lacinato Kale Salad
Unwrap the pizza and spread the cheese out evenly. Bake on a cookie sheet about 10 minutes, or the cheese just starts to brown, at 450.
Turn the kale salad out into a bowl, sprinkle with salt and massage the salt into the leaves so they bruise lightly. Serve.
Serve the beets chilled or sauté lightly in a little butter and serve.
Cold Sesame Noodles w. Stir-fried Broccoli, Braised Tofu w. Garlic Chives
Heat the sesame/peanut sauce in the microwave to bring to room temp. Ditto the noodles. Fold together and serve.
Heat some oil in a sauté pan to just about smoking hot. Add the broccoli. Stir and fry (don't toss). Season with a little salt. Prepare your lid, add a splash of water and the cover quickly. Steam about 1 minute. When the broccoli is bright and has softened a little serve it. Large shares should work in batches to not crowd the pan. Dress with a little soy sauce if you like.
Reheat the pan over medium. Shake the tofu jar gently to fully suspend the sauce and tofu. Add it to the hot pan carefully. Stir and allow the sauce to thicken and the tofu to cook through. 2 - 3 minutes. Adjust the heat to a simmer and serve when hot.
